Full event details

Choose from a range of courses within Natural & Social Sciences to create a bespoke on-campus introduction to university and immerse students in these fascinating subject areas. Including days focused on:

Social Science
Students become crime scene investigators in our?Crime Scene House. Kitted up in full forensics PPE, students learn how to conduct an initial assessment of a crime scene and an in-depth evidence search, and discuss their interpretation of the evidence! The day also includes interactive taster lectures in Criminology and Sociology.

Psychological Science
Students are introduced to the research and areas of expertise of our staff through interactive and engaging activities. They might be introduced to VR and how it can be used to improve wellbeing, look at eye witness accuracy in Forensic Psychology, understand more about pain and how it affects your attention, or how psychology could help shape pro-environmental behaviour.
