Thinking about law, thinking like a lawyer:
This 90-minute interactive session introduces students to the role of lawyers and the ways in which lawyers think. The session is delivered by an academic and a legal practitioner and engages students in a number of activities which encourage students to use their existing skills to solve legal problems. The session ends with a mock trial where students apply their skills to complex cases. This session can be tailored for students from Year 10 to Year 13.
The session will be delivered as a 90 minute mini lecture in schools on Wednesday afternoons after 12:30.
