Full event details

The NCH creative writing minor allows students to harness the full expressive potential and persuasive power of language, and provides the tools and the confidence to approach a wide range of literary forms – from short fiction and immersive journalism, to poetry and scriptwriting for stage, radio, and screen – with aesthetic judgement and practical command.

People write for all sorts of reasons. While writing is a way to express yourself and it is a process of discovery, many people write because they see something in the world around them that they want to change.

As young people, what kind of change do you want to see in the world? Is it to do with the climate and the environment, or is it to do with gender, identity, body-image or relationships? Let’s discover together the ways people use fiction, poetry, scripts and manifestos to create change in the world.

This taster will include ample time for Q&A with Faculty and Student Ambassadors.
