This taster lecture introduces students to the Rule of Law. The term ‘Rule of Law’ comprises various moral and procedural meanings, which we will explore in this lecture. We will think critically about what a legal system looks like when the Rule of Law is respected.

The Rule of Law is also an important cornerstone of UK Public Law, so in addition to investigating it theoretically, we will also look at the role that this principle plays in the context of the UK constitution.

This taster will also include an introductory overview of studying at NCH, and there will be ample time for Q&A with Faculty and Student Ambassadors.
