Full event details

Two types of workshops packages are available:
1. GCSE Curriculum based Maths workshops on a variety of topics selected by the school e.g. Fractions, decimals and percentages, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Equations. These will be 30 minute sessions per topic, delivered virtually on MS Teams by University of Wolverhampton Mathematics team for GCSE Students.

2. The second option available are a series of 'Maths in the real world' workshops which Schools are able to select from, with content pitched to the year groups stated:
Maths & Art: Geometric Origami (Yr 9/10)
Maths & Computer Science: Cryptography (Yr 9/10)
Maths & Biology: The lifecycle of the Periodic Cicada (Yr 9/10)
The Maths of social distancing (Year 9-13)
Understanding R - The reproduction rate (Year 9-13)
Testing & Tracing – How many people are infected? How do we know?

The 'Maths in the real world' workshops will be 30 - 45 minute interactive sessions delivered remotely on MS Teams by University of Wolverhampton Mathematics team. Resources are required for some sessions which will be delivered to schools in advance.
