The University of Suffolk is offering a special virtual Architecture taster session on the 4th of May at 11.00 until 12.30.

Architecture is one of the most complex and beautiful design disciplines, yet when we look at the finished building, we often see only an arrangement of bricks, mortar, and glass. In this taster session, we’ll explore how architects use the hidden material of light and its relationship to atmosphere, proportions, and the built environment to enhance the architectural process and experience. In this taster session we will see how to play with lights, with a simple mobile phone, and how to create a quick architectural structure, with little theoretical knowledge, a large amount of recycled material, our imagination, and the ability to see, in a simple form, the experience of space and architecture.

This taster session will will give you a real insight into studying Architecture at the University of Suffolk.
