Full event details

On 7 June 2020, a statue of the slave trader Edward Colston was toppled and pushed into Bristol Harbour as part of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Dr Jessica Dubow will examine the cultural and political geography of the memorial and place it in context of broader questions of public representation and historical memory.
