The Online Medicine Summer School will take place on 6 - 9 July 2021.

Guaranteed interview

For students that meet two or more of the Office for Students (OfS) criteria, attending and completing the Medicine Summer School will guarantee you a Multiple Mini Interview (MMI), subject to meeting the GCSE, A Level and UCAT requirements. You will still need to complete the Roles and Responsibilities form when you apply for the course.

Even if you don’t meet these criteria you will still benefit by learning more about the role of a doctor and the different career routes you can take after your degree. You'll also get to experience parts of our admissions process, which will prepare you for the future.

Eligibility criteria
To be considered for the Medicine Summer School, you must meet our academic requirements:

GCSEs – five subjects at grade A/7, with a minimum of grade B/6 in Maths, English Language, Biology, Chemistry and Physics (Dual Award Science is accepted).
A Levels – in three subjects in one sitting, including Biology or Chemistry, plus another designated science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths/Further Maths/Statistics). Only one subject from a combination of Maths, Further Maths and Statistics will be considered from the three A Levels.

We will consider Year 13 students who have not applied to university and are taking a gap year.
