Full event details

Do you have questions about your next steps in education, such as how to prepare for your GCSEs or your options after finishing Year 11? Are you wondering whether university is an affordable option for you? Are you a parent/carer unsure about how best to support your young person in their education?

Join us for a series of interactive online events, with separate sessions for young people and parents/carers, where we will help you to answer these questions and many more.

Please see below for details of the sessions offered.

Thursday 2 March 2023, 5-6pm - Get Ready For GCSEs (Y7-9)
Get Ready For GCSEs aims to give young people a better understanding of what the GCSEs are and how Years 10/11 are different to Years 7-9. We'll talk about why GCSEs matter, what your options may be and what you can do to start preparing for your GCSEs.

Thursday 9 March 2023, 5-6pm - Get Ready For A Levels (Y10-11)
Get Ready for A-Levels aims to give young people a better understanding of A-Level study and how this differs from your GCSE years. We'll talk about what your options are, how your A-Level choices inform your options at university and beyond, and what you can do now to prepare.

Thursday 16 March 2023, 5-6pm - Stepping Up Your Study Skills (Y9-11)
Gain confidence in how you study and help to boost your results. This session will talk you through effective ways to improve how you study and help you to reflect on your past habits.
