Studying maths and/or physics at A-level? Interested in astrophysics, physics, or space science?
Join us for the UCL Space Science Week at the Mullard Space Science Laboratory, a world-leading space science laboratory that is part of UCL.
Space Science Week will give you an opportunity to meet scientists and engineers working on current and past space missions with ESA and NASA, and use real spacecraft data to explore cutting edge science.
During the week, you'll hear from four exciting speakers about different aspects of working in the space community, attend three workshops covering coding, Mars missions and image processing, work on your own research project on an area of space science, as well as be able to ask questions to our careers panel about learning and working in STEM subjects.
The week will run Monday to Friday, with five full days of interactive workshops, talks and group work. These sessions will be run by academic staff and PhD students from the Mullard Space Science Laboratory.
This event is free to attend, but students will need to apply and will be offered a place according to our Widening Participation Eligibility Criteria [More information can be found here:
