Do you want a taste of university life?

Uni Camp is a fantastic experience for year 12 students to find out about university life. Our University of Suffolk staff and team of current students will be able provide support and advice on your journey to university. The event will help you to get a better understanding of what student life is like and give you the tools you need to make the big decisions in the coming weeks and months.

Due to the ongoing situation with Covid-19, this year’s Uni Camp programme has been moved online.

Monday 12th July - Thursday 15th July.

What is covered?

Uni Camp 2021 is a fantastic opportunity for year 12 students to have a virtual university experience. You'll have the chance to find out more about university by participating in a variety of university subject taster sessions and hearing directly form current university students on their experiences. You'll also take part in student life skills workshops, where you'll learn some of the important lessons about life on campus from how to cook to how to get involved in all of the social activities available to uni students. There will also be sessions to prepare you for year 13 and starting uni, where we'll look at how to make your application and how student finance works. It's a fantastic opportunity for you to learn about higher education while developing key transferable skills that will be useful at university.

Our expert team of current students and staff will be on hand to answer your questions in all of the workshops and sessions.

Ongoing Support

All year 12 students who attend Uni Camp will have access to a support package from staff and students at the university during the 2021-22 academic year. Students will benefit from expert advice on university applications and personal statements as well as guidance from current students on what to look for and ask when considering courses and universities.

Who can apply?

University of Suffolk welcomes applicants who are currently in year 12 or equivalent).
