Full event details

Chris will be joined by Professor Libby John, Head of College of Science at Lincoln, to host a day packed with face-to-face, hands-on, and virtual activities for everyone to enjoy. It will include a series of Summer Watch on-campus activities, a special Live Lounge session, and a media masterclass.

Chris Packham is one of the most recognisable British broadcasters, perhaps best known for hosting the BBC's Springwatch and Autumnwatch series. An enthusiastic advocate of wildlife conservation and environmental issues, he also dedicates his time to a variety of charities and good causes.

Places for the event are limited, but the 'Summer Watch' activities will be live streamed on the University of Lincoln website and social media channels during the day.

Face to Face with Nature
Visitors can book a place to meet Chris in person and get involved in our 'Summer Watch' activities, which will include setting camera traps for 'beasts from the Brayford', pond dipping, and hands-on lab work.

This exciting on-campus event is aimed at young people interested in the environment, natural sciences, biology, or animal sciences including wildlife.
