Careers in Sport will offer young people practical insight and knowledge surrounding a career in sport. The day will offer the opportunity to explore how different professionals support injured athletes, and how these roles are intertwined.
Careers in Sport will help to raise the aspirations of students by giving them in depth insight and knowledge into careers in sports. The day will address the various jobs available in sports and offer practical, hands-on activities to engage students with these careers. From learning about pitch side experience to supporting an injured athlete with their rehabilitation, including therapeutic exercises and diet. There will also be a session how athletes develop the power/speed to perform. The day will be supported by UCB lecturing staff.
