The University of Central Lancashire is committed to working with Schools and Colleges to raise awareness and aspirations towards higher education opportunities.
We know that our relationship with students starts even before they enrol at the university and our team are experts in providing information about our programmes so that students have the knowledge they need to make a successful application. This outlines how we can work with you to support your students in their journey to higher education.

Our post-16 activities focus on giving students a taste of what it is like to study at university, giving them valuable experience of the teaching styles they will encounter from a range of subjects they may choose to study.

Who are these events for?
• Individuals studying A Level or BTEC or other qualification at Level 3.
• Individuals considering studying a degree or degree apprenticeship.
• School group bookings accepted.

Students in Year 12 studying a minimum Level 3, are adjusting to the changes in learning and teaching styles and the increased independence on offer. Mentors at UCLan will help them to carry out thorough investigations into their skills and endeavour to match them with suitable careers and courses.

We are offering potential students a way to learn more about our courses, the industry, employability and the opportunities it gives them. Find out what placements are available and the career prospects they can lead to.

As we know one of the challenges that schools and colleges face is covering the cost of transportation to the events that we offer, we will contribute up to £250.00 towards your transport costs.
