Geopolitics and Climate Change - Royal Holloway Geography Taster Day

This Taster Day will showcase some of the exciting research undertaken by lecturers in the Geography Department at Royal Holloway University of London. You will see four sample lectures from our experts that cover the breadth of our curriculum, and receive a virtual tour of our beautiful leafy campus.

The lectures will cover superpower geopolitics, glaciers and climate change, modern day slavery, and geopolitics of climate change. These lectures will highlight the physical processes and impacts of climate change, and the varied ways in which it affects human being worldwide.

This taster day will run as an online event, and will include interactive discussions with staff and other students. You will have the opportunity to discuss the critical challenges highlighted in the lectures and ask any questions to our expert lecturers.

The Taster Day will include an exciting Climate Change Summit, where you will have the opportunity to participate in a Mock Summit to learn about the political and social aspects shaping humanity’s response to climate change.
