Performing Arts Masterclasses - Acting and Theatre

The masterclasses are available at our Performance Hub, Walsall Campus or at your Institution, see below:

Acting and Theatre masterclasses at The Performance Hub:
- Acting for Camera - This workshop introduces key approaches to acting for the screen
- Scenography - from page to stage, an introduction to design for set and lighting

Acting and Theatre masterclasses at your Institution:
- Physical Theatre - This workshop will feature a range of embodied approaches to
devising movement
- Verbatim Theatre Practices - In this workshop you will consider alternative ways of
approaching characterisation

All workshops are 90 minutes duration and cater for 10-15 students

The Performance Hub boasts exceptional teaching and learning facilities for music, dance, drama and musical theatre all under one roof, to support student learning at the highest level. The Hub also doubles up as a performance venue, with shows and independent cinema at the Black Box Theatre.
