Full event details

This masterclass will be delivered as a lecture which covers the issues associated with the delivery of drugs into the brain and how this makes the treatment of brain tumours very difficult. It will then focus on the benefits of local drug delivery to the brain using implantable devices, finally focusing on the development of an implantable device for the treatment of brain tumours.

Schools will be limited to 8 places for this class. Individual bookings can be made by students in Year 12 or 13.

Attendees should be studying A level Biology or Chemistry.
