In this masterclass, students will learn the basics of the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic writing system. They will familiarise themselves with the different types of signs and how they were used. At the end of the session, students will have a go at writing their own names in hieroglyphs which will be fun but potentially messy, so participants are asked to be mindful of this when registering.

School bookings only. Schools will be limited to 5 places for this class.
