Embark on a journey through the many mediums of creative writing. This taster lecture will help you understand and develop your skills to a university-level standard. The tools you’ll gain will help to improve your confidence and understanding of the various forms of creative writing.

Bring direction and purpose to your writing by learning how other writers have responded to their own contexts, cultures and the literature of their contemporaries. You’ll understand how creative responses to your cultural situation can influence your writing style and approach the craft through a diverse range of literary forms.

The move from Sixth Form to University is an exciting new experience that allows you to immerse yourself in your chosen subject/s whilst preparing you for life after university. Please join us for this university-style lecture, delivered by our Creative Writing faculty.
