Applying to study Primary Education can be a new challenge for many learners. Most universities require an interview and pre-requisite experience in a classroom alongside their UCAS application. This event will feature interview preparation sessions, as well as interactive taster classes in various subject areas which students would explore on a Primary Education degree.

These sessions will give students a chance to understand the different lessons they may attend on a Primary Education degree, as many students will not have studied teaching practices at school or college. Current Primary Education students will also be running a Q&A session for learners, and can discuss the demands of this degree and the work placements involved.

Our Insitute of Education has been rating Outstanding by Ofsted since 2011 and 98% of our Primary Education graduates go into employment within 15 months. This is an excellent day for all students considering studying education at university level, and they will be able to ask questions to some of the best teachers in the field.
