Full event details

On this day you’ll have the chance to meet new like-minded people, explore the campus of the University of Nottingham and get advice on the university’s application process. With a workshop on careers in geography (by Black Geographers) and mini-lectures about current themes in geography you can get a real feel for what studying geography at university is like.

For who?

We invite students from year 10, 11 or 12 from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire schools and who fit one of the following widening participation criteria:

- Receive free school meals
- Neither parent attended university
- From Black, Asian or minority ethnic groups
- Disabled students
- Carers
- Refugees
- From a military family
- Students with learning disabilities

Lunch and snacks will be provided on the day. A £10 Robin Hood travel card per attendee will be available to cover travel expenses. Please contact us if you need further financial support for travel.
