‘Teaching Poetry: present issues, future possibilities’ will also see Andrew and Malika (whose work is both taught in schools) in conversation with English PGCE lead for Manchester Met, Joe Barber. They will explore questions around the topic of the teaching of poetry in schools at GCSE and A-level.
This free, online event, which takes place on Thursday, 1st December (4.30-6pm) will be of interest to teachers, librarians and anyone who cares about how poetry is taught in schools.
