Full Event Details:
We organise tailored school and college visits for groups of up to 50 targeted students from state schools in the West Midlands. We aim to raise the aspirations of students and provide them with important information, advice and guidance to enable them to make informed decisions about their future.
A typical day runs from 10.00am to 2.00pm, with lunch and refreshments included, subject to numbers being below 50.
The sessions are flexible and can cover a variety of events including student panels, campus tours, interactive activities, quizzes and why university. We also try and bust myths including student finance.
****PLEASE NOTE*********
Due to the challenging situation presented by COVID-19 (coronavirus), the University of Birmingham has made the decision to cancel all on-campus events for external visitors until the start of June. Therefore unfortunately this means that we will not be accepting any requests until after then. We are very sorry for any disappointment that this may cause. Our approach to campus events is continually under review and we will ensure that we update this on our FAQ page on our website. Please be assured that we are following the guidance issued by the government carefully and will only run events if we feel it is safe to do so.
