Full event details

We are proud signatories of the Care Leaver Covenant, Stand Alone Pledge and members of the National Network for the Education of Care Leavers (NNECL). Our award-winning We Care Team have received national recognition for the innovative and student-focused support they offer.

This interactive presentation is delivered by the We Care Team along with some of our current care experienced students. Staff will outline the support on offer, and explain how they can work with you to effectively prepare your students for the transition to university.

This session can be tailored to the audience - whether this is teachers/advisers, students or both.

The recommended duration for this session is 30 – 60 minutes. This can be followed up with further meetings throughout the student UCAS application process if required.

Sessions are offered all year round, subject to availability.

To find out more please contact Wendy Price, Head of Widening Access and Participation, on [email protected] or call 0191 515 2216.
