A 90 minute activity looking into the careers in more depth. Participate in hands-on activities around health care professions, delivered by health academics in your school. Understand how science is used in healthcare roles and learn about the different career paths, from the unknown to the typical routes.
The talk will cover 13 different allied health professions. Each student will be given a workbook to complete, which will be colour coded to link careers depending on their answers.
Are you interested in surgery? Have you ever thought about being the face behind the mask? Sessions include airway management, laparoscopic trainer and radiography. Explore Operating Department Practice and Diagnostic Radiography where you can learn about the career you have probably heard little about!
