Politics & History Taster Day

The event will include a variety of presentations and Q&A sessions. Current themes include:
• Politics of Climate change and UK National Security (Politics)
• US Civil Rights Movement and Indian history (History)

Students interested in a career in media after their History or Politics degrees will also be able to learn about the tie-in journalism option (officially approved by the National Council for the Training of Journalists)

It will be an opportunity for all sixth-formers who wish to study either a combined or single Hons in Politics and History to learn more about the course. There will also be an opportunity to tour our campus, speak to our student ambassadors and hear from our current placement students about their experiences in the working environment and how they transitioned back to education afterwards.

Lunch will be provided for all attendees, along with light refreshments during the break. Brunel may also be able to provide complimentary transport for your students.
