In this taster day you’ll get the opportunity to experience what it’s like to study Physics at University.
Join us at our Clifton campus where you will start the day by taking part in a sample lecture from our academics. You will then be lead on a tour of our campus facilities including our Laboratories, MRI room, Ionising Radiation centre, and our Observatory.
You will get the chance to interact with a range of our undergraduate experiments, find out all about the practical applications of physics, and see what a physics degree is all about. You will be able to chat with the admissions tutor and meet research active staff working in a range of diverse areas. There will also be current students available who can tell you about their experiences and answer any questions you might have as well.
This experience is ideal for adding to your personal statement and will be useful in helping you determine if studying physics at university is right for you.
The day is free of charge and refreshments will be provided.
You must be 16 or over and be studying A Level Math and Physics.
