In this taster day you’ll get the opportunity to experience what it’s like to study Law at University.

You will experience our authentic courtrooms which are custom built for use by our students and take part in hands-on interactive legal exercises. You’ll learn all about our multi award-winning teaching law firm, NLS Legal, and get an insight into the work they do within the local community. You'll attend an interactive workshop with helpful information and tips around client interviewing, with a practical approach, delivered by our experienced lawyers. NLS Legal has recently been awarded ‘Law Firm of the Year’ at the national LexisNexis Legal Awards 2022.

Nottingham Law School (NLS) has over 50 years experience in supporting students and is one of the UK's largest and most established Law Schools offering 10 LLB accredited Law degrees.

The day is free of charge and will be run by Law academics and Law students. It's also perfect if you haven't decided which area of Law you want to study yet as you will have the chance to talk to academics about the different routes. This experience will help you stand out on your University applications.
