Full event details

Our Open House events are designed to allow prospective students, parents, teachers and careers advisors the chance to tour one or both campuses on the same day. Each Campus Tour will include the majority of our academic and social facilities, at this time it is a requirement to wear face coverings in our clinical environments. Sessions at 10am, 11am and 12noon also feature an Introductory Welcome Talk; the talks at Camden Campus and Hawkshead Campus are identical.

As most of the teaching takes place in Camden for our Biological Sciences courses we recommend visiting this campus, but the BSc Animal Behaviour, Welfare and Ethics course is based at Hawkshead for the final year so if you are interested in this course you may wish to visit Hawkshead too.

We recommend visiting Hawkshead only if you are considering studying Veterinary Nursing (there is no teaching for this course in Camden).

While for Veterinary Medicine (BVetMed) both campuses are recommended as the first two years of the 5 year programme are spent at our Camden Campus and the final three years are spent at Hawkshead.

Pathway: Campus

- Biological Sciences Pathways: Camden Campus (The final year of Animal Biology, Behaviour, Welfare & Ethics is taught at Hawkshead)

- Veterinary Nursing Pathways: Hawkshead Campus

- Veterinary Medicine (BVetMed) Pathways: Camden & Hawkshead Campus

Choosing Time Slots

Our priority is to provide you with the most informative experience that we can; as such we are staggering entry times and limiting attendance to 3 people per registration(one student with two accompanying guests).

Within the application form you will be asked to select your preferred attendance time. You have the option to visit both campuses on the day or just one. The options are:

Hawkshead Campus (Hawkshead Lane, Brookmans Park, Hatfield, AL9 7TA):

11:00am - 1:00pm (Welcome Talk & Campus Tour)

1:00pm - 2:30pm (Campus Tour)

2:00pm - 3:30pm (Campus Tour)

3:00pm - 4:30pm (Campus Tour)

Camden Campus (4 Royal College Street, London, NW1 0TU):

Please note, if you plan to visit both campuses you are responsible for organising transportation , typically this would take around 1 hour. Travel via train (Kings Cross Station to Potters Bar Station and vice-versa) is highly recommended.

If you wish to visit both campuses we suggest you book onto the 10am-12noon slot at whichever campus you wish to start at and then the 1pm-2:30pm slot at the other campus.

If booking onto the 11am-1pm slot we recommend the 2pm-3:30pm slot at our other campus.

If booking onto the 12pm-2pm slot we recommend the 3pm-4:30pm slot at our other campus.
