The conference is perfect for education professionals who support students in making decisions after school and college. We have an incredible line-up of speakers and sessions including updates from UCAS and Student Finance, insights from The Student Room and The Brilliant Club as well as informative sessions from our admissions and support services teams and much more.

  • 10.40-11.25 Morning Breakout Session

  • 11.40-12.40 Research Showcase
    This session will showcase cutting-edge research from various Queen Mary academic schools. You'll have the opportunity to learn about the latest discoveries and breakthroughs from experts in their respective fields, ranging from the sciences to the humanities.
    You’ll gain valuable insights into what Queen Mary researchers are currently working on and have a better understanding of the types of exciting research your students may be exploring in the future. 
  • 12.40-13.40 Networking Lunch & Exhibition
    A buffet lunch will be available for delegates. You will have the chance to network with fellow delegates.
    We will be running an exhibition during lunch. You will have the opportunity to meet and network with the different academic schools and departments as well as meet representatives from higher education sector organisations including Unifrog and The Brilliant Club.
  • 13.40-14.10 Understanding Degree Apprenticeships
    Delivered by Kimberly Murphy- Degree Apprenticeships Manager
    In this session, we will explore the basics of degree apprenticeships, including the different types of apprenticeships available at Queen Mary and how they differ from traditional degree courses. We will also discuss the benefits of degree apprenticeships for students and how you can support students in making applications.

    An alumni panel session with former students from a variety of degree courses sharing their inspiring career journeys and how their Queen Mary University experience paved the way for their success. Our panellists will reflect on the knowledge, skills, and connections they gained during their time at university, and how they leveraged those experiences to achieve their professional goals.
