Designed for Year 12 students who meet our Widening Participation criteria, Young People’s Lectures involves a series of workshops and meetings, building towards an exciting afternoon of motivational speaking organised by young people, for young people.

Full event details

We work with a small group of Year 12 students to develop vocational and soft skills ranging from public speaking to event management. This programme will be delivered after school or during study periods, weekly for 60–90-minute sessions, culminating in an afternoon event of motivational speaking which the students will have organised. Students from neighbouring schools can be invited to this event.
