Interested in a career at sea?
Our careers in maritime open days give you an insight into what a career in the maritime industry has to offer, and the training programmes to qualify as a ship's deck, engineer or electro-technical officer in the Merchant Navy and on superyachts.
You'll feel right at home at our friendly and welcoming campus where you can discover, and maybe even try out, our amazing maritime facilities, including our bridge simulators. You'll also be able to talk to and ask questions of course leaders and, just as importantly, current cadets about studying at Solent, as well as our accommodation, admissions and Student Hub teams.
We also know that some people can't attend an on-campus open day, or would feel more comfortable learning about Solent at home, which is why we're offering some events virtually, as well as our on-demand open day.
