Open Days - On Campus Careers at Sea Open Day

Our careers in maritime open days give you an insight into what a career in the maritime industry has to offer, and the training programmes to qualify as a ship's navigation (deck), engineer or electro-technical officer in the Merchant Navy and on superyachts.

Many of the major British shipping companies and recruitment and training companies who recruit cadets will be available to give information about the career opportunities they offer. Our teaching staff are also on hand to talk about the academic side of training, and current cadets will be able to tell you what training to be a ship's officer is like.

You'll also be able to take a tour of our main East Park Terrace campus and our St Mary's campus, which is where our cadets are taught. You can also see where you could be living with a tour of our student accommodation.
There are general presentations about life as a deck or engineer officer, and you can also speak to our teams about accommodation options, applying and enrolling, student support, and much more!
