Discover YSJ is a three-day, four-night residential that takes place on our York campus at York St John University, from Tuesday 25 June until Friday 28 June, designed to give current year 12 students an insight into the university experience.

Stay in university accommodation and experience academic subject taster
sessions, with all transport and catering provided free of charge. Subject strands for 2024 include:
- Music
- Geography
- Media Production, Film and TV
- Health
- English Literature and Creative Writing
- Criminology
This event is open to first year sixth form or college students and priority places will be given to students from backgrounds that have traditionally been underrepresented in higher education.
