Orthoptics Taster Session: Why do we see double?

In this detailed Orthoptics taster session, you'll learn what the role of an orthoptist in eye care entails and what studying the programme at the University of Sheffield is like. We'll explore how the eyes work together and why, sometimes, they don't and why this might happen. You'll hear from current Orthoptics students and staff and have the chance to ask any question you have.

When: Tuesday 21st May - 4pm - 5pm

Age Group: Year 12 and Year 13

Location: Online

Itinerary: 4:00 - 4:15: The role of an Orthoptist and Orthoptic Degree at the University of Sheffield
4:15 - 4:45: Lecture: Why do we see double? 
4:45 - 5:00: Quiz based on the lecture content 
5:00 - 5:15 : Q&A with admissions tutor and student ambassador
