In this taster day you'll get the opportunity to experience what it's like to study Architecture at university.
During this taster day you’ll get the opportunity to experience what it’s like to study our three accredited courses at NTU: Architecture, Interior Architecture & Design and Architectural Technology.
You’ll have the chance to meet some of the architecture teaching staff and students at NTU and experience the studio & modelmaking workshops, as well as seeing the other facilities at our city campus.
You will start the day with a welcome and introduction to NTU Architecture from the Head of Department. You’ll hear about the range of courses (Architecture, Interior Architecture & Design and Architectural Technology) that we offer and gain an understanding of the difference between the three courses. We will also be offering advice and tips on creating a successful portfolio.
After lunch, you’ll take part in a ‘hands on’ studio workshop where you will get to experience all three courses, through undertaking a variety of design exercises which will include drawing and modelmaking.
This experience can also be used to help your personal statement and portfolio stand out!
