About London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE)

LSE is the world’s leading dedicated social science institution. Situated in the heart of London, students from over 150 countries join those from all over the UK. This creates an unequalled cosmopolitan student body, bringing a diverse and challenging perspective to undergraduate study in the social sciences.

A laboratory of the social sciences

Undergraduate study opportunities are not limited to Economics and Political Science but also include Anthropology, Geography, History, International Relations, Languages, Law, Philosophy, Psychological and Behavioural Science and Social Policy. Students also have the opportunity to specialise in a language as part of their degree.

Experience LSE

LSE offers advice and guidance to prospective students, teachers, and advisers throughout the UK on all aspects of the admissions process and studying at LSE. We offer prospective students a variety of opportunities to experience LSE before applying to LSE, including Open Days, Student Shadowing, Discovery Sessions, Campus Tours, Taster courses and conferences. We also run events for teachers and advisers including our annual Advising the Advisers conference and online events and resources.
