De Montfort University is in a diverse and vibrant city of Leicester based in the East Midlands. Having invested significantly in a stunning campus in the heart of Leicester, students get the best of both worlds – a compact, accessible and safe space to live and study with convenient access to accommodation and the city centre.

Having educated and trained for more than 150 years, our goal today is to become ‘The Empowering University’ by creating opportunities to empower students, staff and the wider community to create a fairer and more sustainable society that transforms lives.

Our goal is to help every student reach their goal and to ensure students have the best learning experience possible. Therefore, we have introduced a new course structure, known as Education 2030, providing students with more time to focus on what they are passionate about. Students studying at DMU truly value their experience, with the university placed 14th nationwide in the ‘University of the Year’ category at the 2022 WhatUni Student Choice Awards.

De Montfort University’s School and College Liaison Team provide a comprehensive programme of activities, designed to follow the higher education cycle from the beginning stages of researching courses and choosing universities through to applying via UCAS and securing student finance. Our adaptable suite of presentations, workshops and events are completely free of charge and designed to fit with your students and your timetable.

The team primarily work within a 45-mile radius of Leicester however, we will happily try to assist those schools further afield upon request.
