Swansea University has been ranked 12th for overall student satisfaction in the 2021 National Student Survey, as voted for by our students themselves.
In the prestigious Guardian University Guide 2021, we have risen 21 places in the last 3 years into the UK Top 30, now ranked at 24th. We have also been ranked 6th for course satisfaction by the Guardian for 2021, with the Complete University Guide placing 10 of our courses in their top 10 ranks for 2022. Complementary Medicine has earned 1st place in its field, Childhood and Youth Studies regarded as 2nd and Medicine has come 5th.
The Complete University Guide has also reported that 71% of Swansea University students agree they are on track with their career progression, and our professional healthcare courses currently hold a 99-100% graduate employability rate.
We place our students at the heart of everything. As a result, we achieved a gold rating, the highest rating possible, in the national Teaching Excellence and Student Outcomes Framework (TEF).
In terms of student life, our halls of residence were ranked 8th in the UK by Student Hut in 2020, and our city was placed 9th place for its nightlife. So whether your students prefer vibrant city centres or areas of natural outstanding beauty, Swansea University has space for all.
