We have also been ranked Welsh University of the Year (The Times Good University Guide 2025). The Complete University Guide placed 22 of our courses in their top ranks for 2025. Complementary Medicine has earned 1st place, with Paramedic Science ranking 2nd and Childhood & Youth Studies regarded as 5th place in their fields.

We place our students the heart of everything, to help them prepare for their bright future ahead. As a result of this, HESA 2024 found that 94th of our graduates are in employment, study or in other activities.

Mass Spectrometry: What’s in my painkiller? Lecture Swansea University This activity is an interactive presentation which aims to build on students’ understanding of atomic theory and the periodic table, chemical reactions and the analysis of substances in a working analytical environment within a National Facility. Mass Spectrometry is shown in action, identifying the compounds in a common painkiller tablet.

Presentation on the Implications of Antimicrobial Resistance Swansea University This is a presentation on antimicrobial resistance to students at GSCE/A level. In this session we explore the problem and implications of antimicrobial resistance. It consists of a short slide presentation and a creative film which brings the issues to life. It lasts about 40-45 minutes.
