UCL School Visit for Year 12s: Personal Statement & Super-Curricular Engagement

Duration: ~45-minute assembly or 2-hour small group workshop

Year group: Year 12 students or new Year 13s

Session details:

This interactive session guides students through the process of writing the personal statement and how to effectively include super-curricular activities, using model examples. The 2-hour small group workshop gives students who are applying to university more opportunity to explore examples in depth. They will be given a comprehensive planning guide, and there will be chance for them to receive feedback on a personal statement draft or plan. 
Please note: We are making changes to this session in line with UCAS guidance about personal statements. Changes to personal statements do not apply to students applying for 2025 entry to university (i.e. current Year 13s).
