The workshop covers the following topics

• The finance system including tuition fees, loans and grants
• How to apply for finance
• How to budget effectively
• Other sources of funding and income tuition fees, scholarships, grants and
• A group budgeting exercise

Students will be able to understand financial terminology, understand what the costs are and what financial support is available and budget effectively to make the most of their student income.
