Aimed at those with an interest in Visual Effects, 3D design or Animation, this talk/workshop aims to demystify Houdini as a design tool, and excite with its potential. As one of a handful of Houdini Certified programmes in the UK, staff from BSc Computer Animation and Visual Effects will take the audience through the process of understanding how procedural working can benefit a wide-range of disciplines related to design and visual effects, leaving students feeling confident in how to access the tools at home, and begin learning one of the fastest evolving disciplines in the CG and Games industries.
This session lasts between 60-90 minutes. The main session is preceded by a welcome presentation and ends with a Q&A where students are free to ask questions. It is aimed at year group 12 and 13.
