Build Your Career

Build your Career is being hosted at our Kedleston Road campus, between 9:30am and 2:30pm on Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 March.

On each day your students will have all the opportunities they need to make them job ready or help them find their future pathway. Across both days your students will be able to take part in;
- A range of masterclasses and workshops delivered by experts on topics from CV basics and digital professionalism to degree apprenticeships.
- A variety of Careers in … subject talks, highlighting the pathways which can be taken from studying subjects such as Journalism, Business or Sport.
- The employer showcase, with leading employers such as the NHS, JCB and Teach First on hand to talk through opportunities for work experience and internships available to them, and the insider information on what they look for in graduates.

The day has a free-flowing schedule, with students able to attend a variety of talks, explore our campus and take part in our activities when it suits them, giving them a taste of what to expect in day-to-day university life.
