The world produces over 2bn tonnes of solid waste every year. That's expected to grow to 3.4bn tonnes by 2050. Much of that waste is not managed properly, so what's the solution? The circular economy is a model of production and consumption involving sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling existing materials and products for as long as possible, reducing waste to a minimum. Duration: 4 hours.
