All humans use language, and it reflects the society we live in. During this taster day you will creatively examine the practical applications of this science - how it can improve communication (both locally and internationally), treat speech disorders, support legal processes, influence the teaching of languages and raise literacy.
You will also get the chance to experience what it’s like to study English Language and Linguistics at University level by participating in some fun practical activities and we can show you around the campus to help you imagine what uni life at NTU might feel like.
