Our annual conference is designed to equip teaching, careers and pastoral staff with the latest updates and practical tools to support students with preparation for higher education.
BCU’s Teachers and Advisers’ conference returns in 2024 to bring together
individuals from across the sector, to share updates and empower you in
your role.
You will have the chance to attend a variety of practical and engaging sessions, all aimed at supporting and informing your vital work with students. You’ll be able to speak to our student ambassadors, and network with other teachers and advisers in the sector to share best-practice and discuss current trends.
We are always excited to welcome a variety of teachers, careers advisers
and other education practitioners to campus for a day of talks and workshops focusing on BCU and updates on the wider sector.
Last year’s event saw sessions including ‘Supporting your students in the transition to higher education’, ‘Key UCAS & HE sector updates’ and our well-received keynote on ‘Engaging effectively with Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha’. With 90% of attendees ‘very satisfied’ with the topic relevance and 90% saying they would recommend the conference to a colleague, we are looking forward to welcoming you to 2024’s event.
The conference is completely free to attend, with refreshments and lunch provided.
