UCL's Access and Widening Participation Office will be visiting schools in the East Midlands, West Midlands and East of England in October, November, and December 2024 to deliver talks to Year 12 and 13 students about university.
We are offering a range of talks and workshops which provide up-to-date information, advice, and guidance to support students in Years 12 and 13 with higher education applications and their transition to university.
These talks include the following:
- Choosing your course and university
- Your personal statement and super-curricular engagement
- Thinking like a university student - Jeremy Bentham and the Trolley Problem
- Understanding student finance and money management
- Year 11 - Starting your HE journey
If you are interested in receiving a visit from us in October, November, or December, we would be grateful if your school’s sixth form coordinator or careers lead could complete our Expression of Interest Form (via the Visit Website button at the top of this page) as soon as possible. Once we have confirmed our visit timetable, we will then be in touch with more information about our visits to specific regions.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions using the email provided.
Please note: schools wishing to participate in the UCL Access Roadshow must meet our eligibility criteria. See our Who We Work With page for more information:
