Open Day - October

Our Open Days run from 9am to 3.30pm. We will send you a programme of the day’s events in the weeks leading up to the Open Day to help you plan and prioritise the events that interest you the most.

At an Open Day you can:

• meet the academics you’ll be learning from to find out more about your subject of interest
• talk to current students about life at Sussex and in Brighton
• get practical advice from our expert staff to make your application to Sussex stand out
• hear from our teams in Admissions, Student Support, Careers, Housing, Student Finance, Study Abroad, Placements and Careers and Employability.
• explore our beautiful campus on a guided tour and check out our facilities and accommodation options
• attend a dedicated session for mature students.

Travel
Our campus is well connected by public transport, including buses and trains. If you choose to travel to one of our Open Days by public transport, we’ll plant a tree as part of our sustainability mission.

If you’re driving, we have a limited number of parking spaces on campus. Please let us know if you need a space when booking your Open Day place and we will send you a permit in advance, on a first come, first served basis. Once parking is full, you won’t see this option available on our booking form.

Help with the cost of travel
We want to make sure everyone can visit us at and Open Day and get a taste for life at Sussex.

That’s why we’re offering to help with the cost of travel for you and a guest. Depending on where you live you can claim between £25 to £75.
