UCL School Visit for Year 12s: Exploring Academia

The Exploring Academia Campus Visit will support your students’ in considering post-16 pathways, raise your students’ awareness of university options, and explose students to learning at a university level.

This visit aims to:

Increase students' confidence in making informed decisions about accessing higher education.
Expose students to learning at a university level and begin to develop key academic skills to support them in their transition to university.

A typical Exploring Academia Campus Visit will cover the following:

• Introduction to higher education and studying at university session.
• UCL campus tour (with student ambassadors).
• Thinking like a university student session.
• 2 taster sessions in either STEM, Arts and Humanities or Social Sciences subjects.
