Think nurses only work in hospitals doing one role? Hear about how a career in nursing can take you around the world in different areas including community nursing in the NHS, cruise ships and prisons. Hear about the skills we bring into our daily life and opportunities with nursing qualifications.
This session will include a nursing career talk and a short nursing skills activity with our nursing lecturers and inspirational nursing students who will speak with you about their path into nursing. Are you interested in how the human body works? Do you want to gain a rewarding and intellectually challenging career? Do you enjoy learning new skills and using new technology in an ever-evolving world? Do you enjoy working within a team and gaining life-long friends? Are you a caring and compassionate person? If so, nursing needs you! Come along and say hello!
An alternative is to have careers talk and Q&A with nursing students and lecturers. From classroom size to whole assemblies. Same dates and times.
